Sunday was such a perfect day for celebrating Easter! The weather was beautiful and the boys looked absolutely adorable in their matching outfits. We went to church and on the way home, Carson totally crashed out. He hasn't done that in
months so it was pretty strange. Of course it threw his nap schedule way off, but obviously he needed his rest.
The boys woke up Easter morning and went straight to the door, hoping to open it and see that the Easter Bunny left them some goodies on the steps. They found their baskets and were very excited. They spent the rest of the morning, before we left for church, digging through their baskets and chowing down on PEZ candies at the ripe hour of 8:00 AM! :)
We spent the afternoon with Noah's family where we had a very tasty meal and a big Easter Egg Hunt for the grandkids. The boys found lots of yummy treats and had a good time. Enjoy the pics!
Before I forget, here is a
precious conversation between my mom (Bama Jean) and Nolan about Easter and what it meant for Jesus to die on the cross:
Bama Jean: "Jesus was nailed to the cross and he died so that we could all go to Heaven. Do you know where we go when we die?"
Nolan: "To Disney World."
